HARTSVILLE, S.C. - Coker College softball player Maria Williamson was voted the SPC Credit Union Student-Athlete of the Month for March 2017. 

Williamson finished the month of March with a .380 batting average, 27 hits, 23 RBIs, 10 runs scored, seven home runs and five doubles. She currently leads the NCAA Division II in total bases and is second in home runs with 12. She also ranks inside the top-20 in DII in RBI with 43, doubles with 12 and hits with 51. Within the South Atlantic Conference, she is the league-leader in RBIs and home runs. 

She is the daughter of Jenny and L.E. Williamson. She is an education major.
