HARTSVILLE, S.C. – Coker College men’s basketball player Nathan Lemke was voted the SPC Credit Union Student-Athlete of the Month for December 2016.

The junior forward had an excellent month for the Cobras, averaging 12 points and over seven rebounds per game during the month of December. He scored in double figures in four of the seven games, including back-to-back games of 20-pius points and 10-plus rebounds.

In a win over Brevard on Dec. 10, Lemke finished with a career-high 21 points and 10 rebounds, while shooting 10-11 (90.9 %) from the field. He was just one made bucket away from tying a Coker single game record for field-goal percentage.

He backed that performance up by scoring 20 points and pulling down a career-high 15 rebounds against then ranked No. 8 Queens University of Charlotte.
