Three Cobras Compete at NCAA Southeast Regional

MONTEVALLO, ALA.- Three Cobras represented Coker cross country at the NCAA Southeast Regional on Saturday (Nov. 5).

Darroneshia Lott made a strong showing in the women's race, finishing in 15th in 22:06.44, breaking the school record for a 6k time. Lott fell one spot short of qualifying for the national meet, but was named to the All-Region team. She is the first in the history of the Coker women's cross country program to be named to the All-Region team.

Two Cobras also competed in the men's 10k race in Jacob Chebii and Luke Elliott. Chebii finished 60th in 33:01.13 while Elliott finished 145th in 35:59.31.

The races concludes the 2016 men's and women's cross country seasons.
