Coker Women Ranked No. 9 in Southeast Region Poll

HARTSVILLE, S.C.- The Coker women's cross country team locked up the ninth spot in the Southeast region according to the latest United States Track and Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) poll.

The women's squad has finished in the Top 10 in each of its races, winning the CIU Invitational, placing 10th at the Furman Invitational, and taking home seventh at the Wingate Bulldog Invitational. Hannah Weibel has led the way for the Cobras, notching two Top 30 finishes along with a 32nd-place finish at the Furman Invitational (24:06.02).

The team will run on Friday (Oct. 3) at the Royal Challenge in Charlotte, N.C. The race is slated for a 4:00 p.m. start.
