SPARTANBURG, S.C. – The Coker College men's and women's cross country teams hit the road to kick-off their season at the Eye Opener Invitational.

Returning on the men's side is the senior duo of Dylan Bates and Nick Mascardo, along with sophomore Tre' Williams.

Returning on the women's side is senior Kirsten Sanders, juniors Naomi Watson and Vanessa Pina and sophomore Makeda Eley O'Reilly.

A combined nine new runners make up the rest of first-year head coach Benny Morgan's roster; six for the men and three for the women.

The Eye Opener Invitational will begin on Friday (Sept. 5) in Spartanburg, S.C. and is hosted by the University of South Carolina Upstate.
