Allanah Rauschenberger Leads Cobras to Seventh Place Finish at Koala Classic

COLUMBIA, S.C. -- The Coker College women's cross country team travelled to Columbia to participate in the Koala Classic Cross Country Meet hosted by Columbia College on Saturday (Oct. 6).

Freshman Allanah Rauschenberger led the way for the second race in a row, this time with a 5k time of 23:12.2. Olivia Jordan finished second for the Cobras at 23:45.6, and Breanna Sullivan third with a time of 23:49.8. Coker finished in seventh place overall with a total score of 150 points, easily defeating Lander (181), Paine (211), Erskine (212), Claflin (226), and Morris (304).

The Cobras will be back in action on Friday (Oct. 12) when they travel to Kernersville, N.C. to compete in the High Point Vert Cross Invite. Race time is set for 4 p.m.
