Darroneshia Lott Finishes 38th at NCAA Championships, Becomes First Coker Cross Country All-American

EVANSVILLE, Ind.- In her final race as a Cobra, Coker College women's cross country runner Darroneshia Lott took to the trails early on Saturday (Nov. 18) morning at Angel Mounds finishing 38th overall out of 247 Division II runners. Lott crossed the finish line in the time of 21:41.7 in the 6K race, earning All-American status, and sets a new Coker and personal record. 

The Pensacola, Florida native pushed hard and shattered her own previous 6K record of 21:59.42, which was set in her latest race at the NCAA Southeast Regional on Nov. 4, becoming the first All-American runner in Coker cross country history.

By increasing her time by 18 seconds, Lott has become the most decorated runner in Coker College cross country history. She now owns the top-five records in 6K and 5K races for the Cobras women's cross country program.
