Darroneshia Lott to Represent Coker at NCAA Cross Country Championships

HARTSVILLE, S.C.- Coker College senior women's cross country runner, Darroneshia Lott will have one last race in a Cobras uniform. The highly touted and fully decorated runner attempts to make her mark at the NCAA Championships in Evansville, Ind., on Saturday (Nov. 18) morning. 

Lott is a native of Pensacola, Fla. and has esteemed herself as the best cross country runner in Coker history. She recently took hold of the fastest times in the women's 5K and 6K races in program history. Running a 17:52.88 mark in the 5K South Atlantic Conference Championship race (Oct. 21) finishing second overall. Lott has also set the record in the 6K with a time of 21:59.42 at the NCAA Southeast Regional (Nov. 4), placing third overall.

On Saturday (Nov. 18) Lott will have one more race in her collegiate career. The NCAA Championships are set to begin at 11:15 EST from Angel Mounds in Evansville, Ind. Results from the race can be found by visiting www.cokercobras.com.
