Du Bray Selected to Google Cloud Academic All-District First Team

GREENWOOD, Ind. -- Coker College women's volleyball player, Taylor du Bray has been selected as a member of the Google Cloud Academic All-District First Team, as announced today by the College Sports Information Directors of America (CoSIDA).

Each year, CoSIDA selects Academic All-District members across NCAA Division I, II, III, and "College Division". Nominated student-athletes must be upper classmen who maintain at least a 3.30 cumuluative grade point average, and be significant contributors to their team's success.

Du Bray, a business administration major with a concentration in economics, carries an impressive 3.95 cumulative grade point average, and was recently selected to the South Atlantic Conference All-Conference honorable mention team. Additionally, she set the Coker College single-season kills record for the second consecutive season, compiling a total of 373 kills on the season. She now ranks seventh all-time in Coker career kills, trailing Selena Davis (2001-04) by just 45 kills as she heads into her senior season next year.

"I'm extremely proud of Taylor, and all of her accomplishments", said former head women's volleyball coach Julia Rowland. "She's very diligent in the classroom, and hardworking on the volleyball court. I'm overjoyed that Taylor has earned this award."

Du Bray, a junior from Highlands Ranch, Colorado is the daughter of John and Midge du Bray.
