Coker's du Bray Earns All-Conference Honor

HARTSVILLE, S.C.- Coker College women's volleyball player Taylor du Bray has been named to the 2017 All-South Atlantic Conference Honorable Mention Team for her performance this season, the conference office announced on Wednesday (Nov. 15).

The sophomore right side hitter from Highlands Ranch, Colo. has had a record-setting season. She totaled 340 kills, 411 digs, 30 service aces, and 25 block assists during the 2017 season. Her 36 assists were crucial in helping the Cobras set a new all-time season assist record at Coker with 1,226 this season. In conference action, du Bray ranked fourth with 247 kills, and she ranked tenth overall in digs with 411. With the help of du Bray, the Cobras ranked second in the SAC in team digs with 2,203.

"I'm extremely proud of Taylor and excited about this accolade for our team," said Head Women's Volleyball Coach Julia Rowland. "She worked incredibly hard this season and deserves the recognition.  She made a move in position this season and put in a great deal of extra work to become the hitter she was for us."
