Cobras Fall to Trojans in SAC Match

HARTSVILLE, S.C.- The Coker College women's volleyball team hosted the Trojans of Anderson University in South Atlantic Conference action Saturday (Oct. 28) afternoon. The Navy and Gold lost to the Black and Gold in three sets (10-25, 14-25, 15-25).

The Cobras were led offensively by Taylor du Bray and Annie Mansfield, who both collected five kills. Mansfield had two block assists to her credit on the afternoon as well. Christen Bragg topped the team in assists with 18, while du Bray finished with double-digit digs at 11. Alexis Berles had the most success defensively with three block assists.

Coker had 21 kills, 20 assists, 43 digs, and six block assists versus the Trojans.  

On Tuesday (Oct. 31), the Cobras travel to Belmont Abbey to take on the Crusaders in non-conference play. First serve is scheduled for 7:00 p.m.
