Cobras Drop Season Finale to Mars Hill

HARTSVILLE, S.C. – The Coker College women's volleyball team dropped their final match of the season 3-0 to Mars Hill on Saturday (Nov. 12) afternoon. The Cobras finished the year with a 13-17 overall record.

Coker was led offensively by Christen Bragg who notched seven kills and a team-best 11 assists. Taylor du Bray matched Bragg's assists total with 11 as well. On the defensive end of the ball, Kara Overholt led the way for the Cobras with 18 digs. Alexis Berles had a strong presence in the middle of Coker's defense by tallying two total blocks. 

As a team, the Cobras averaged 10.90 kills per set, 10.32 assists per set, 1.80 blocks per set, 1.30 service aces per set, and 18.60 digs per set during their 2016 campaign.
