Cobras and Bulldogs Square Off in Midweek SAC Showdown

HARTSVILLE, S.C. – The Coker College women's volleyball team will be back at home on Tuesday night (Oct. 27) to take on the visiting Wingate University Bulldogs in South Atlantic Conference action. First serve is set for 7 p.m. with live stats and video available at www.cokercobras.com.

Madison Bingle leads the attack for the Navy and Gold. She has a team-high 185 kills to go along with 194 digs. Megan Hardy has 114 kills, while Alexis Berles has 93 kills so far this season. Christen Bragg has dished out a team-best 439 assists and is tied for third in the SAC with .41 service aces per set. On the defensive side of the ball, Rachel Waters leads the Cobras with 206 digs and Berles has 57 total blocks.

The Bulldogs travel to Hartsville with a 20-2 overall and a 14-1 in conference record. They are led by the duo of Shelly Stumpff and Abby Saehler. Stumpff ranks first in the conference with 3.69 kills per set, while Saehler ranks second with 3.53. Also, Tyler Smith is first in the conference with 1.26 blocks per set.

Tuesday night's match is set for a 7 p.m. start with the doors of the DeLoach Center opening at 6 p.m. Tickets are $15 dollars for reserved seats, $5 dollars for adults, $3 dollars for students, and free for all Coker students, faculty and staff.
