HARROGATE, TENN. – The Coker Cobra women's volleyball team lost its South Atlantic Conference match on the road to the Lincoln Memorial Railsplitters, 3-1, on Friday (Sept. 25) evening.
The Railsplitters took the first set 25-18, but the Cobras bounced back with a 26-24 victory in the second set. However, LMU took home the next two sets with scores of 25-14 and 25-17 to earn the victory.
Shealynn Miller was the offensive leader with nine kills, while Christen Bragg picked up a double-double of 14 assists and 16 digs. Madison Bingle and Cayley Gunter added six kills each, and Rachel Waters picked up 15 digs.
The Cobras will wrap-up their weekend road trip on Saturday (Sept. 26) with a tri-match at Carson-Newman. Coker will face Carson-Newman at 1 p.m. and then take on the University of Montevallo at 3 p.m.
