BREVARD, N.C. – The Coker College women's volleyball team fell 3-1 to the Brevard College Tornados on Friday (Sept.18) in a South Atlantic Conference road matchup.
The Tornados would take sets one and two by scores of 25-20 and 25-16.
The Cobras would storm back to win set three by a score of 25-23 to force a fourth set. However, Brevard would win set four by a score of 25-15 to win the match 3-1.
Madison Bingle led the way with another double-double. She recorded 13 digs and 10 kills. Kara Overholt's 13 assists and 11 digs were also good enough for a double-double. Megan Hardy and Shealynn Miller registered eight and seven kills apiece.
The Cobras will take on the Lenoir-Rhyne University Bears tomorrow (Sept. 19) in another SAC road match. First serve is set for 2 p.m. in Hickory, N.C.
