Cobras Looking to Cage No. 10 Bulldogs

HARTSVILLE, S.C. –The Coker College women's volleyball team will play host to the nationally ranked No. 10 Wingate University Bulldogs on Tuesday (Oct. 7). First serve from the DeLoach Center is set for 7 p.m., with live coverage available on www.cokercobras.com.

The Navy and Yellow are led by the freshman duo of Christen Bragg and Madison Bingle. Bragg comes into the match with a team-high 408 assists, which is good enough for eighth in the conference. Bingle is the team leader in the kill category with 109 kills through 15 matches, which is in the top-25 in the conference.

Wingate comes to Hartsville with a 15-1 overall and perfect 8-0 conference record after a 3-0 victory over Carson Newman. The Bulldogs are led by Shelly Stumpff with 158 kills and Alison Cooke with 444 assists on the year.

Tuesday's game will also be Hartsville Young Professionals and Chamber of Commerce Night. Members of the Hartsville Young Professionals group and the Hartsville Chamber of Commerce will receive free admission to the match. Tickets for the match are $5 for adults, $3 for students and free to all Coker faculty, staff and students. Doors open at 6 p.m.
