Coker Drops SAC Match to Catawba

HARTSVILLE, S.C. – The Coker women's volleyball team dropped a South Atlantic Conference match, 3-0, to the Indians of Catawba College on Tuesday (Sept. 23).

The match was a back-and-forth slugfest in all three sets, but costly errors by Coker would be the deciding factor for the Indians as they captured the match with set scores of 25-18, 25-23 and 25-20, respectively.

Madison Bingle led the offense with three service aces and a double-double performance of 12 kills and 11 digs. Loren Hill added nine kills and 10 digs, while Christen Bragg dished out 29 assists and scooped up six digs.

The Cobras will be in action again on Friday (Sept. 26) night when they head to Newberry for a 7 p.m. matchup with the Wolves.
