HARTSVILLE, S.C. – Coker College women's volleyball coach Allison Stack announced today the signings of Missy Reid, Bailey O'Brien, Regan Kennen, Christen Bragg, Alexis Berles and Madison Bingle to the 2014-15 recruiting class. All six have inked national letters of intent and will be joining the Cobras beginning in the fall of 2014.

"These young ladies illustrate, perfectly, what we want from our student-athletes," said Stack. "All of them come from winning pedigrees and excel in the classroom. Recruiting high-character individuals with great athletic potential is the way we want to build our program. I am confident that these first signees are a great foundation to build upon."

Reid is a libero from Boynton Beach, Fla., where she attends Lake Worth Christian School. A four-year letterwinner in volleyball, Reid has won two class 2A state championships and been named All-Palm Beach County twice, once as a second-team selection and once as an honorable mention. Reid also lettered in cheerleading and tennis.

Missy is the daughter of John and Anne Reid.

O'Brien, a setter, is from Valrico, Fla. She is a three-sport athlete in volleyball, tennis and lacrosse for the Wolves of Newsome High School.

Bailey is the daughter of Barry and Stacy O'Brien.

Kennen is an outside hitter from St. Augustine, Fla., where she is a two-sport athlete in volleyball and soccer at St. Augustine High School. She is a three-year letterwinner in volleyball for the Yellow Jackets and was named team captain as a senior.

Regan is the daughter of Bobby and Tracy Kennen.

Bragg is a setter from Rock Hill, S.C., where she is a four-year letterwinner in volleyball at Rock Hill High School. She was a team captain, team MVP, two-time region player of the year, two-time all-state, three-time all-region, and North/South all-star game selection. Bragg also lettered in softball.

Christen is the daughter of Chris and Michelle Bragg.

Berles, a middle/blocker, is from Grandville, Mich. She is a four-year letterwinner in volleyball, basketball and softball for the Grandville High School Bulldogs.

Alexis is the daughter of Fred and Chantelle Berles.

Bingle is an outside hitter from Grand Rapids, Mich., where she is a four-year letterwinner in volleyball at Zeeland East High School. She was a team MVP, two-time all-conference and two-time all-area selection.

Madison is the daughter of Marnie Parris Bingle and Rob Bingle.
