Coker Women's Volleyball Drops Three Set Match at Brevard

BREVARD, N.C. – The Coker women's volleyball team lost its South Atlantic Conference match, 3-0, to the Tornados of Brevard College on Friday (Nov. 8) night. The Tornados defeated the Cobras in straight sets 25-11, 25-18 and 25-18.

Taylor Willis led the Cobras with eight kills and six digs, while Cassandra Nagel had six kills and two aces. Samantha Celek had 21 assists and five digs, and Mindy Morris had a team high nine digs. Hannah Vadakin added five kills and four digs as well for Coker.

The Cobras will be back on the floor on Saturday (Nov. 9) for a road match against the Bears of Lenoir-Rhyne. First serve is set for 5 p.m.
