COLUMBIA, S.C. – On Saturday (Jan. 18), the Coker University women's track and field team finished their first meet in 2020 in Columbia, S.C. at the Gamecock Opener.

On the track, sophomore Calene Lazare ran the second fastest 200m in Coker history, with a time of 25.69. In the 800m, freshman Destiny Ingram led the Cobras, running a time of 2:30.23.

"I am proud of how we competed this weekend, and it was a valuable meet to gain experience against some really good competition," said coach Pete Early. "We look forward to getting back to training and continuing our progressions."
