Kaylah Ruff Wins SAC AstroTurf Women's Outdoor Track Athlete of the Week

HARTSVILLE, S.C. -- Coker College women's track and field student-athlete Kaylah Ruff has won the South Atlantic Conference AstroTurf Women's Outdoor Track Athlete of the Week award, the league announced Tuesday (Apr. 16). This is Ruff's first outdoor athlete of the week award this season. She won indoor athlete of the week in February when she broke the school indoor 60-meter hurdles record at the USC Open.

Ruff, a senior exercise science major from Conover, N.C. broke her own school record in the 100-meter hurdles at the Gamecock Invitational with a time of 14.34 seconds. She now holds the top ten 100-meter times in school history. She's recorded all five of the top five times in school history within the past month.

Ruff is the daughter of Vickie and Tommy Ruff, and the sister of Quin.
