Kaylah Ruff Sets Meet Record, Wins 60-Meter Hurdles at SAC Championships

WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. -- The Coker College women's indoor track and field team capped off a terrific season with an excellent showing at the South Atlantic Conference championships this weekend (Feb. 23-24).

Kaylah Ruff headlined the weekend, posting a qualifying time of 8.66 in the 60-meter hurdles. She then took first place in the event with a time of 8.80. Ruff has recorded the four-fastest 60-meter hurdle times in school history over her last four attempts.

Lauren Mustapher grabbed second place in the 60-meter dash, posting the fourth-fastest time in school history with a time of 7.75, while Tiffany Taylor set the school shot put record with a distance of 10.44 meters.

The SAC Championships marked the end of the indoor track season, but the outdoor season begins March 16th at the Shamrock Invitational in Myrtle Beach, S.C.
