Trinity White and Tiffany Taylor Shine as Cobras Compete at JDL College Kickoff Classic

WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. -- The Coker College women's track and field team opened their 2018-19 season at the JDL College Kickoff Classic on Saturday (Dec. 1).

Trinity White shined for the Cobras, recording the second-fastest 400-meter time in Coker history, finishing with a time of 1:01.01.

Lauren Mustapher finished 10th overall, and notched the fifth-fastest 200-meter time in Coker history with a time of 26.30.

Tiffany Taylor recording the second best shot put distance in Coker history with a distance of 32'8.50'', and Mikayla Cline notched a distance of 30'3.50''.

The Cobras had an especially impressive performance in the weight throw with Caterra Barkins and Myia West recording the third and fourth best distances in Coker history with throws of 33'3.25'' and 32'7.75'' respectively.

The Cobras will be back in action on January 13th when they travel back to Winston-Salem, N.C. for the JDL January College Kick-Off. The meet is set to begin at 9:00 am.
