ROCK HILL, S.C. – Coker College women's track and field team member Darroneshia Lott has been named AstroTurf South Atlantic Conference Runner of the Week, the league office announced today.

Lott turned in another record-breaking week for the Navy and Gold, winning the 800-meter run at the Weems Baskin Invitational with a school-record time of 2:07.99. Her time was nearly four seconds faster than the previous 800-meter record, which she set at the UNCW Invitational.

On the season, Lott ranks first in the southeast region in the 800-meter and fourth in all of Division II. She is currently qualified for the NCAA DII Outdoor Championships in Bradenton, Fla.

She is the daughter of Michele and Darron Lott. She is a physical education major.
