Coker Women's Track and Field Regionally-Ranked Eighth; Lott Ranked Fourth in Division II in 800-Meter

NEW ORLEANS, LA. – The Coker College women's track and field team is currently ranked eighth in the Division II southeast region, according to the week two U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) poll.

The Cobras currently have team members ranked in top-ten regionally in the 100, 200, 800 and 1500-meter, the 400-meter hurdles, the 4 x 100 and 4 x 400-meter relays, the high jump, long jump and heptathlon.

Additionally, Darroneshia Lott is ranked fourth in Division II in the 800-meter with a time of 2:07.99. Lott is currently qualified for the NCAA DII Outdoor Championships (May 25-26) in Bradenton, Fla.

The Cobras will be back in action on Apr. 14-15 for the South Atlantic Conference Outdoor Championships.
