HICKORY, N.C. – The Coker women's track & field team took part in the first day of competition at the 2015 South Atlantic Conference Track & Field Championship on Friday (Apr. 17).
Tamara McMichael picked up a top 15 finish in the hammer throw with a distance of 22.86 meters. She also placed 17th in the javelin throw with a distance of 21.00 meters.
Da'Sha Jobes jumped 5.02 meters in the long jump, which was good enough for a ninth place finish.
The Cobras will wrap-up competition at the SAC Championship on Saturday (Apr. 18) beginning at 10 a.m. Live results can be found at www.cokerocnbras.com.
