ROCK HILL, S.C. – The Coker Cobra women's track & field team took part in the Winthrop Invitational on Saturday (Mar. 28).
The 4x100-meter relay team had the top finish of the day. They placed seventh with a time of 50.10 seconds.
Individually, Talicia Murphy placed 16th in the long jump with a distance of 5.00 meters. She also came in 17th in the triple jump with a distance of 10.42 meters.
Also placing in the top 20 was Shauntel Smullen with a 19th place finish in the 800-meter run with a time of 2:30.82.
The Cobras will now take a break until the South Atlantic Conference Championship on April 17.
