MYRTLE BEACH, S.C. – The Coker Cobra women's track & field team had five top 15 finishes after day one of the Coastal Carolina Invitational on Friday (Mar. 13).
Deanna Alston-Butler took home a seventh place finish in the 400-meter dash with a time of 1:06.56. She also placed 13th in the 200-meter dash with a time of 28.03.
Talicia Murphy came in fourth in the long jump with a distance of 5.06 meters, while Da'Sha Jobes took 18th with a distance of 4.93 meters.
Also placing in the top 15 was Raquel McArthur with an 11th place finish in the 100-meter dash. She came in with a time of 13.87. Coker's 4x400-meter relay team also brought home a top 15 finish, placing 13th with a time of 10:41.49.
The Cobras will wrap-up competition at the Coast Invitational on Saturday (Mar. 14) at Doug Shaw Stadium in Myrtle Beach.
