HARTSVILLE, S.C. –The Coker women's tennis team fell 7-2 in South Atlantic Conference action to the Wingate University Bulldogs on Tuesday (Apr. 7) afternoon.
Jennifer Mezei would win one of Coker's two matches with a 6-3, 7-6 (11-9) victory at No. 1 singles; while Bailey Palmer picked up a 6-1, 7-6 (9-7) win at No. 2 singles.
The Cobras will conclude the regular season on Thursday (Apr. 9) with a SAC tilt against the Wolves of Newberry College. The match is scheduled for a 2 p.m. start at the Coker Tennis Courts.
