HILTON HEAD, S.C – The Coker women's tennis team picked up a non-conference win 8-1 to Davis and Elkins College on Saturday (Mar. 7) afternoon.

Coker swept the doubles portion of play with 8-3, 8-0 and 8-2 wins at No. 1 doubles, No. 2 doubles and No. 3 doubles, respectively. Jennifer Mezei picked up a 7-5, 4-6, 10-6 win at No. 1 singles, while Sarah Elliott notched a 6-2, 6-2 win at No. 3 singles. Ragan Palmer would come away with a 6-0, 6-0 win at No. 4 singles. At No. 5 singles, Jenna Gainey picked up a 6-0, 6-2 victory and Melissa Mahon concluded the wins with a 6-2, 6-0 win at No. 6 singles.

The Cobras will take on Florida Tech in its next match on Monday (Mar. 9).
