Women's Tennis Adds Hatcher and Mickey

HARTSVILLE, S.C. – Coker College women's tennis coach Tom Simpson has announced the additions of Sarah Hatcher and Suzanna Mickey to the 2014-15 recruiting class. Hatcher and Mickey will join the Cobras beginning in the fall of 2014.

"These two young ladies are tremendous players and proven champions," said Simpson. "Both come from winning programs and have the pedigrees needed to make our women's program even more competitive in the 2014-15 season."

Hatcher hails from Maitland, Fla., where she is a two-sport athlete in tennis and cross country at Edgewater High School. A four-year letterwinner in tennis, Hatcher is a three-time district 7, region 4 and class 3A district and regional champion.

Sarah is the daughter of Bruce and Cheryl Hatcher.

Mickey is a five-year letterwinner in tennis at Sumter High School in Sumter, S.C. She has been undefeated in the regular season since her sophomore year, and lost no matches as a senior for the Gamecocks.

Suzanna is the daughter of Scott and Tammy Mickey.
