Hartsville, SC- The Coker men's soccer team defeated Nova Southeastern with a score of 4-1 in a thrilling match on September 5, 2024. The game, held at Coker Athletic Field, saw both teams putting up a tough fight, with Coker ultimately emerging as the dominant force.

Coker's Jorhan Chopin opened the scoring in the 26th minute, assisted by Oskar Kaufmann. Connor Duggan and Frederic Benedix added two more goals for Coker in the second half before Vitalis Takawira Jr. sealed the victory with a fourth goal. Nova Southeastern managed to find the back of the net once, with Alessandro Salvadego scoring their lone goal.

The match was intense, with yellow cards being handed out to players from both teams. Coker's Leo Souza, Matty Tricker, Oskar Kaufmann, and Carter Nunnery all received yellow cards throughout the game.
