Cobras Drop Season Finale to Tusculum

HARTSVILLE, S.C. – The Coker College women's soccer team dropped their season finale to the visiting Tusculum University Pioneers 4-1 Saturday (Oct. 27) afternoon in South Atlantic Conference play.

Trailing 2-0 with under ten minutes to play, the Cobras cut the Pioneers lead in half when Gaby Sturla found the back of the net off of a cross. However, Tusculum denied Coker the comeback by tallying the final two goals of the game.

Sturla led the Cobras with one goal off of one shot. Georgia Reece finished with a team-high two shots, while Claire Groves, Grayson Chappell, Farrah Brown, Dominique Walker, and Claire Slamka all recorded one shot each.

The loss concludes the Cobras 2018 season.
