HARTSVILLE, S.C.- Julianna Bales has signed her National Letter of Intent to play soccer for the Coker College Cobras next fall, head coach Debbie McGuinness announced today.

Bales comes to Hartsville after two years at Eastern Florida State College, where she played in two NJCAA national tournaments and was a team captain as a sophomore. She played her high school soccer for the Palm Bay High School Pirates, where she was a two-year varsity captain as well as an all-conference selection.

"She is a player who can control the tempo of the game, and her work ethic and dedication will prove valuable to our program," said head coach Debbie McGuinness. "We are excited to welcome "Jay" to our Cobra family," said McGuinness.

The Palm Bay, Fla. native is the daughter of Tracy and William Bales and plans to study elementary education. She has two siblings, Kaitlyn (23) and Jacob (15). Kaitlyn also played soccer for two years at Eastern Florida State College.
