Monroe's Two Goals Lead Coker to 4-0 Thumping of Mars Hill

HARTSVILLE, S.C. – Senior Trah Monroe's two goals helped lead the Coker women's soccer team to a 4-0 South Atlantic Conference win over the Mars Hill University Lions on Saturday (Oct. 11).

Monroe got the Cobras on the board early, knocking home a one-timer in the 10th minute of play. She would later send the Navy and Yellow into the half up, 2-0, with a 45th minute goal. Junior Jenna Pacyna would get in on the action with a goal in the 80th minute and sophomore Jordan Roy would put the finishing touches on the match with a volley in the 89th minute.

Sophomore Renee Ledesma added two assists, while Erica Snyder dished out one helper of her own.

The Navy and Yellow will be back in action on Tuesday (Oct. 14) when they hit the road for a non-conference matchup with the Chowan University Hawks. The match is slated for 4:30 p.m. start.
