Cobras and Tornados Square Off in Season Finale

HARTSVILLE, S.C. – The Coker women's soccer team will close out the regular season this Saturday (Nov. 2) when they play host to the Tornados of Brevard College. Kick-off is set for 4:30 p.m. at the Coker Soccer Field, and will be broadcast live online at www.cokercobras.com.

The Cobras have been led offensively by freshman Jordan Roy, and sophomore Jalynn Fortt. Roy leads the team with three goals, while Fortt leads the team in points with her two goals and team high three assists. Lizz Morris continues to head the Coker defense with her conference and nation leading 150 saves.

Brevard enters the match winless in SAC competition with a 0-9-1 conference record and 3-12-1 overall mark. Yuki Soga has been the offensive catalyst for the Tornados as she leads the team in goals and assists with four and three respectively.

Saturday's game will also be Senior Day. The Cobras will honor their lone senior Rachel Solomon during halftime of the men's game. 

Tickets for the match are $5 for adults, $3 for students and free to all Coker faculty, staff and students.
