Shea Nolan joined the Coker wrestling coaching staff in October 2017.

Nolan most recently worked in the public sector from New Mexico and Colorado.

Nolan wrestled for Rio Rancho High School in New Mexico where he was a three-time state champion and an All-American. He went on to wrestle for Division I South Dakota State University as a two year starter. While with the Jackrabbits, Nolan served as a coach for the redshirts on out-of-town tournaments, attended practices, solo wrestling representative at social events, networked with constituents, and acted as the team liason for the athletic department. 

Post college, he returned to his former high school to become an assistant coach. Under Nolan's tutelage, the team finished second and had two individuals win state titles.
