BELMONT, N.C.- The Coker wrestling team competed on Day Two of the Super Region II Duals against No. t-23 Lake Erie and Tiffin.

Matthew Kieta earned the first victory of the day for the Cobras by way of an 8-4 decision over his Lake Erie opponent. He also fought for a 3-1 decision versus Tiffin in his second match, going 2-2 on the day.

Robert Parland finished day two with a clean slate. He scored a 4-1 decision on his Lake Erie opponent and completed a fall in just over four minutes in his Tiffin match.

Ian Maund went undefeated over the course of the two-day event. The two matches of the day consisted of a 5-2 decision against Lake Erie and a fall in just under six minutes over Tiffin.

The Navy and Gold will return to action on Tuesday, Feb. 6, when they challenge fellow ECAC member UNC Pembroke. The match is scheduled to begin at 7:00 p.m.
