HARTSVILLE, S.C.- The Coker College wrestling team hosted the Emmanuel (Ga.) Lions in an ECAC matchup Friday (Dec. 8), which saw the Cobras earn the win, 21-11.

Diamonte Perry, Michael Milam, Ian Maund, Jordon Garlow, Luis Peguero, and Tyvon Leacock all earned decisions in their respective bouts. Noah Kile went to sudden victory with his opponent, edging him out with a takedown to seal his win at 141 pounds.

At 184 pounds, Garlow attacked early in his bout with a couple of throws for an early lead. His Emmanuel opponent battled back and Garlow held on for the pivotal victory.

The Navy and Gold return to the mat on Wednesday (Dec. 13) at home versus the St. Andrews Knights. The match is scheduled to begin at 4:30 p.m.
