HARTSVILLE, S.C. – Coker College head wrestling coach Cy Wainwright announced today that Junior Beltran has signed a National Letter of Intent to wrestle for the Cobras during the 2015-16 season.
A native of Stafford, Va., Beltran is a three-time Virginia state placer and the 2014 Virginia State Champion at the 125-pound weight class from Mountain View High School.
"We are very excited to have Junior join the Coker wrestling family," said Wainwright. "He is a top-notch wrestler that will be able to make an immediate impact on the mat for us next season."
Beltran plans on majoring in business administration while at Coker.
He is the son of Michelle and Josh Beltran.
