Garlow Signs as First Wrestler in 2014-15 Class

HARTSVILLE, S.C. – Coker College head men's wrestling coach Cy Wainwright has announced his first early period signing for the 2014-15 season. Jordon Garlow has inked a national letter of intent and will be joining the Cobras beginning in the fall of 2014.

"Jordon is exactly what we were looking to add within our program," said Wainwright. "He is a very strong student who is a high character individual. I have no doubt he will be successful on and off the mats for us."

Garlow is a rising senior for the Packers of Smithfield High School in Smithfield, Va. He is a three-year letterwinner in wrestling, totaling 100 wins with 68 pins entering his senior year. As a junior, Garlow was named all-state and placed eighth overall in the 165-pound weight class at the Virginia state championships. He is also a two-time all-region, and three-time all-district selection.

Jordon is the son of George and Barbara Garlow.
