Coker Women's Lacrosse Falls to Mars Hill 16-15

HARTSVILLE, S.C. -- The Coker College women's lacrosse team fell to Mars Hill 16-15 in South Atlantic Conference action on Saturday (Mar. 23).

Meagan Gallagher led the way offensively, scoring four goals for the Cobras. Faith Kent scored twice in the contest; her second goal tied Haley McCusker for the most goals scored in Coker history (212). She'll attempt to break the school record when the Cobras host Erskine on Wednesday (Mar. 27).

Katie Driskell, Hannah Shuren, Alyssa Baronella-O'Toole, and Bailey O'Brien each notched two goals apiece, while Reagan Parr added one goal as well.

The Cobras will be back in action on Wednesday (Mar. 27) when they host Erskine in a non-conference matchup. Game time is set for 6:00 p.m.
