Faith Kent Wins Second Consecutive South Atlantic Conference AstroTurf Women's Lacrosse Player of the Week Award

HARTSVILLE, S.C. - Coker College women's lacrosse player, Faith Kent has been named the South Atlantic Conference AstroTurf Women's Lacrosse Offensive Player of the Week, the league announced Monday (Feb. 11). This is Kent's second Offensive Player of the Week award of the season.

Kent, a communication major from Winter Springs, Fla., tied her own school single game goals record with nine goals against Palm Beach Atlantic on Thursday (Feb. 7). She also notched the second most points in a single game in school history with 13 total points.

Kent is Coker's career points leader, and entered the season just 40 goals behind Haley McCusker for the school's career goals record. Additionally, she holds the school record for most assists in school history with 103 assists. She currently leads the South Atlantic Conference conference in goals (15), assists (4), and points (19).

Kent is the daughter of Phyllis Kent, and sister of Coker women's lacrosse head coach Chelsea Kent.
