Faith Kent Ties Goals Record, Cobras Fall to Palm Beach Atlantic

HARTSVILLE, S.C. -- The Coker College women's lacrosse team fell to Palm Beach Atlantic 26-22 in non-conference action on Thursday (Feb. 7).

Faith Kent tied her own single-game goals record with nine goals, and notched the second highest single-game points total in school history with 13 points in the game. Kent scored five goals in the first half, and then four in the second, including her ninth goal which helped the Cobras erase a four-goal deficit and tie the game at 20-20.

Alyssa Baronella-O'Toole and Meagan Gallagher scored four goals apiece for the Cobras, and Katie Driskell and Reagan Parr scored two goals each as well. Hannah Shuren added a goal, two assists, and three ground balls for the Cobras.

The Cobras will be back in action on Tuesday (Feb. 12) when they travel to face the Barton Bulldogs. Game time is set for 7:00 p.m.
