ROCK HILL, S.C.- Haley McCusker and Cassie Williams were named South Atlantic Conference AstroTurf Women's Lacrosse Offensive and Defensive Players of the Week, as announced by the conference office on Monday (Feb. 26) for the week of Feb. 19-25.

This is both McCusker's and Williams's first selection of the season.

Their performances against Converse on Friday (Feb. 23) garnered them this distinction. McCusker tied her career-high goals in a game with seven. The senior from Warwick R.I. also collected three ground ball, controlled four draws, and caused a turnover. Williams, a sophomore from Rockledge, Fla., finished the game with nine saves, for a save percentage of 52.9 against the Valkyries.

McCusker, a communication major, is the daughter of Lynn and James McCusker.

Williams, a pre-med major, is the daughter of Marcina and Christopher Williams.
