HARTSVILLE, S.C. – The Coker women's lacrosse team will kick-off its 2015 South Atlantic Conference schedule with a tilt against the Newberry College Wolves on Saturday (Feb. 21). The conference matchup will take place at Byerly Park, with live stats and broadcast available at www.cokercobras.com.
The Cobras (1-1) come into the game with one of the top goal-scoring duos in the SAC. Freshman Claudia Jenkins enters the game second in the conference with nine goals, while classmate Haley McCusker ranks fifth with five goals. Sophomore Mackenize Baker helps pace the offense with a team-leading three assists, which ranks fourth in the SAC.
The Wolves enter the game 0-1 and are led offensively by four players with one goal each.
The game is set to begin at 1 p.m. at Byerly Park.
