HARTSVILLE, S.C. – The Coker women's lacrosse team continued its goodwill initiative on Saturday (Sept. 27) by going out into the local Hartsville community and doing yard work for terminally ill residents. The team has made a commitment to providing local residents help with simple chores that have become too difficult to complete.

"We look forward to community service opportunities," said freshman Haley McCusker. "Reflecting on the community service we do, I realize helping the people of Hartsville in any way we can has a positive impact on myself and the team. We are all becoming better people because of these service projects."
