HARTSVILLE, S.C. – After one round of play at Woodlake Golf Club the Coker University women's golf team sits eighth at the State Farm Intercollegiate. Finishing with a combined team score of 335 (+47) on Monday (Sept. 16), Alicia Fajardo and Katie Smith rebounded on the back nine helping position the Cobras for a second-round charge on Tuesday (Sept. 17).
Fajardo led the way for the Cobras posting an individual score of +2 for the entire round, finishing with an even par on the front nine. Taylor Mayers shot an 83 (+11) and Smith finished the day at 86 (+14).
Round two of the State Farm Intercollegiate will resume on Tuesday (Sept. 17) teeing off at Woodlake Golf Club. Hannah Goodman will tee off at 8:30 a.m., Jordan White at 8:39, Smith at 8:48, Mayers at 8:57, and Fajardo will round it out at 9:06 a.m. Live scoring of the event can be found at www.cokercobras.com
