Women's Golf Closes Out Fall Season With Sixth-Place Showing

JEKYLL ISLAND, Ga. - The Coker College women's golf team ended its fall season with a sixth-place showing at the Jekyll Island Intercollegiate on Tuesday (Oct. 30).

Bella Harris had an impressive showing in round two, firing off a 74 (+2) to go with her 80 (+8) in the first round. Harris would finish the tournament in a tie for 16th. Kelli Smith finished one shot back in a tie for 20th after shooting rounds of 79 (+7) and 76 (+4), respectively. Ana Orlov compiled rounds of 80 (+8) and 79 (+7), which was good for a tie for 33rd. Alicia Fajardo carded rounds of 76 (+4) and 84 (+12), while Samantha Pearson recorded an 86 (+14) and 81 (+9). Fajardo and Person would finish tied for 35th and 58th, respectively. 

The Cobras will not be back in action until Feb. 11-12, when they travel to St. Augustine, Florida for the Spring Kick-Off Intercollegiate.
