Women’s Golf Sets Team Record, Finishes Seventh at the Patsy Rendleman Invitational

SALISBURY, N.C.- The Coker College women's golf team closed out a record-setting day at the Patsy Rendleman Invitational on Tuesday (Oct. 9), finishing in seventh out of 18 teams. The Cobras combined to shoot 303 as a team, setting the school record for lowest round as a team in the process.

Alicia Fajardo led the charge with a 74 (+2) to give her a combined score of 149 (+5) and a tie for 14th. Fajardo's 149 puts her in a tie for the lowest 36-hole score in Coker history, while her second round 74 is good for a tie for fifth in the Coker record books. Bella Harris finished tied for 30th following her round of 78 (+6) to go with her opening round tally of 76 (+4). Ana Orlov also wrote her name in the Coker record books with Fajardo after shooting a 74 (+2). Over both rounds of the tournament, Orlov had a total score of 155 (+11) and finished in a tie for 36th. Alyssa Cambpell finished tied for 41st with a 157 (+13), while Kelli Smith finished in 55th with a 160 (+16).

The Cobras will be back in action on October 22nd and 23rd as they travel to Spartanburg for the Converse Fall Invite.
